Consultation :

Your wedding day is one of the biggest, most intimate days of your life. I’m here to help you decide what works best for you. I offer a free consultation prior to booking to ensure you feel comfortable with whomever you choose to capture your day. Through getting to know you, I’m able to build an incredible Wedding Day Film that perfectly reflects who you are. I meet once more with the couple about a month prior to the wedding to finalize any other details. Every couple and every wedding is different. I look forward to getting to know you whether you end up booking me or not.

Hours :

All packages consist of six, eight, or ten hours of consecutive filming, as this is the best way to stay on track for the day. More hours can be added but do not exceed ten.

 

Travel :

Weddings taking place within 50 miles of the 61571 zip code will be included with all packages.  I am happy to consider weddings farther away with a travel fee add-on.

 

Videographer :

All of my wedding day packages consist of filming done by me, Amber Chapman. I have found great value in clients knowing exactly what to expect in receiving their high quality films. There’s no surprises! It's also incredibly helpful for me to be a part of the entire process, the consultation, the filming, the editing... it prevents loose strings or miscommunication. I also love every step of the process!

 

Sneak Peek :

After the wedding day, I spend the next few days organizing my recordings and backing everything up. While doing this, I come across clips that I love. To me, it just makes sense to make a sneak peek of some of my favorite moments that immediately stick out. This is typically shared via social media within two weeks of the wedding day, unless requested to be shared privately.

Storage :

I store all recordings in multiple locations. I save the original cards and they are not used again until I have delivered the final package. I also store all recordings on external hard drives and in cloud storage.

Wedding Day Film :

This film is the best part of every package! This is the result of all the main highlights of your day you’ve chosen to have captured. I film in a timeless authentic style capturing the majority of moments in an unprompted way. Audio and video are artistically spliced together creating a beautiful piece that tells a story in a captivating way. 

 

Turnaround Time :

I offer a 12 week turn around time for wedding day packages.

Delivery :

The full delivery of all wedding day films will be compiled onto a keepsake USB flash drive for you to have for years to come. 

Before the delivery of the selected films via USB flash drive, I share the Wedding Day Film through a private link. This ensures that you will be the first people to see the film. The link is also shareable with access to a password so that close friends and family can watch before being made public.

 

Home Video Edits :

How do I stand out? I offer Home Video Edits of the ceremony and reception for couples to enjoy alongside their Wedding Day Film. This typically includes the entire ceremony, reception toasts and formal dances. I’ve found this to be incredibly invaluable and couples have loved having this included on their USB upon delivery. These edits include minimal splicing so when you watch it’s as though you’re there in the room. You get to be a fly on the wall of your big events! I still include appropriate lighting adjustments and color grading for these edits. I was someone who hardly remembered some big moments of my wedding and they went by too quickly. I believe that every couple who books with me should have the opportunity to see these memories again.
